Be Your Own Pet

Ok so Be Your Own Pet have split up some few days ago. I’m slightly depressed about the fact as they were one of my favourite new bands and I never got the chance to see them live. Apparently they’re something special - loads of energy, drool and spunky attitude.

Black Kids - I’m Making Eyes At You on Columbia

They’re one of the indie crowds faves at the moment, and I really don’t get it at times. He just sings with that whiny voice indie kids seem to like for some odd reason. But then there’s songs like this, he keeps his vocals more mellow. Great track.

It’s hard to take any track off this album as it won’t be doing the album justice. It simply has to be seen as a whole - it’s more than the sum of its parts. This is definitely one of my favourite albums of the summer.
